We're excited to start development planning for our lovely North Captiva Dunes HOA lot at the end of the Rum Road canal! As members of our voluntary Homeowners Association, we're all dedicated to enhancing our neighborhood’s beauty and amenities. That's why the North Captiva Dunes HOA originally acquired the property at 691 Rum Road, which we plan to transform into a fantastic community hub over the next several years.

Picture this: a boat ramp for easy access to the water with a dock for pickup and drop-off, a welcoming clubhouse with services catered to our neighborhood, and/or sports courts for recreational fun. To make this vision a reality, we need the support of every property owner who wants to be part of this exciting journey and enjoy the future facilities.

Starting in 2023, we kindly request that all property owners contribute a minimum of $125 per year for each land parcel they own in the neighborhood. This will help us maintain and develop the HOA canal property. If you choose not to pay the dues, we understand – but please note that access to the HOA property will only be granted to Members who are up to date with their dues.  All property owners in the Dunes neighborhood are eligible to become HOA members, but you are not a member unless you pay dues.  Homeowners who do not pay dues will not be considered HOA members and will relinquish rights to use the HOA property until all dues in arrears are paid in full and current.

For those who want to contribute even more towards the future development of the canal lot, we have a special Development Plan subscription for $500! In this plan, $125 of your annual dues will cover basic membership, while an additional $375 will be allocated directly to the development fund.

To make things easy, we've designed our dues subscription to accommodate multiple land parcels. If you own multiple parcels, simply purchase the corresponding number of subscriptions to cover them all. And don't worry – you can make your payment anytime during 2023 to ensure your dues are allocated for this year.  Should you have any trouble purchasing multiple subscriptions please reach out to us for assistance.
